On Saturday, August 10th, a strong thunderstorm went through the area with 90 mph winds. This destructive storm took the power out along with tons of branches and trees. We had on the schedule to host a women's event which had to be postpone because of no water or bathroom use. This did not stop people from showing up. They brought chain saws and their will to help those in need. A group of men, women & kids rolled up their sleeves and helped the residents of Mead clean up their yards. They saw a need and stepped up big time! Thank you to all who helped and literally went into the streets to be HIS hands and feet!
